220504 - Old Fire Barn Development Opportunity

The Village of Middleville is seeking proposals for the purchase and development of a Village-owned parcel of property consisting of approximately 0.126 acres located at 115 High St, Middleville, MI 49333 (property parcel number: 41-002-009-00) (the “Property”). The Property is located in the Village’s downtown business district and is currently zoned C-1 Central Business District.

Proposals for the purchase of the Property must be accompanied with a plan for development of the Property, with construction on the Property to begin no later than September 1, 2023. A mixed-use development consisting of residential and commercial uses has been identified as desired uses of the Property, however, the Village is willing to consider other uses that fit within current zoning ordinance and complement the downtown district and Middleville residents at large. Any use in connection with the redevelopment will likely require zoning approvals.
