20250902 - Southfield Road & Beverly Road Intersection Traffic Calming Study

The Village of Beverly Hills is seeking  proposals for an in-depth traffic calming study for the intersection of Southfield Road at Beverly Road.  The study would include analyzing the feasibility of a variety of traffic calming strategies such as installing a modern roundabout, narrowing the road (road diet), installation of a boulevard, left turn lanes, etc.  The study should identify multiple options for the reconfiguration of the intersection including the development of conceptual design work and estimated costs for implementation. Particular attention should be paid to ensuring safe pedestrian and non-motorized crossings, lighting improvements, enhanced transit access, and overall safety improvements for all users at that intersection.
