Minimum three to five years of increasingly responsible management, administrative, and
supervisory experience in government. Manage the implementation of infrastructure projects valuing over $1 million. Bachelor's degree in public administration or related field, Master's
Degree in Public Administration, urban planning, business administration, or closely
related field from a regionally accredited college or university. The selected candidate must complete a financial disclosure form as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications include: Experience in management and oversight of
public works, including water and sewer operations and maintenance, and road
maintenance. Background in zoning administration and land use planning.
Candidates with experience working in Michigan municipal government and CPM
(Certified Public Manager) certification are strongly desired.
