LCCMHA is a community mental health agency that provides emergency services, assessments, health and medication services, client services management, individual and group therapy, assertive community treatment, older adult services, respite, substance abuse services, community supported living, wraparound and psychosocial rehabilitation. LCCMHA has approximately 185 employees, 151 of which are eligible for benefits. The remainder of the employees are occasional, part-time with no benefits, and members of the Board. LCCMHA has a retiree segment comprised of approximately 22 subscribers, but 32 total members. Retirees under age 65 are covered by BCBSM with cost sharing based on service years worked at LCCMHA. Retirees over age 65 are covered through Benistar, a plan that wraps to Medicare. LCCMHA has no bargaining groups.
Bidders are requested to submit proposals for all requested services listed in Section V: Specifications. All services the bidder is unable to provide should be included in Section X: Exception to Specification Form.
Insurance premium quotations are not being requested at this time. No contact, solicitation or market reservations of insurance companies are to be made on the LCCMHA’s behalf prior to completion of the bid award. Failure to comply with this mandate will disqualify your firm from this proposal process and any subsequent contract award.
