8293 - Strategic Facilities Plan

Washtenaw County seeks to develop a Strategic Facilities Plan (SFP) which will guide the future decisions of the organization regarding space, land, and facilities for the coming decades. This request for proposal (RFP) is being put forth to identify a partner to undertake this effort for the County, at the direction of and with support of County staff. The SFP developed as a result of this RFP will assist the County in addressing the following organizational goals:

• Provide space suitable for all services provided by the County
• Right size space types, locations, and allocations
• Provide plan to renovate and update all county spaces, and to create an infrastructure which can be appropriately supported with existing resources
• Be a good partner to the public, departments, and other governments and entities
• Focus on equity by planning accessible, adaptable, and sustainable spaces
• Attain Carbon Neutrality for the organization by 2030 and for the community by 2035
