37-24-030 - Staffing Services to Support JDF Operational Requirements

The County of Wayne is requesting proposals to provide staffing services to support operational requirements at the Juvenile Detention Facility (JDF) and recruitment of staff that can qualify as potential Wayne County JDF employees.

The Contractor shall provide a sufficient number of administrative, supervisory, juvenile direct care staff to perform duties related to the care and custody of residents and other staff to perform the functions and implement the center program defined in these specifications and to provide for the needs, protection, and supervision of residents.

The Contractor must adequately fulfill the terms of this Agreement and shall demonstrate a good faith effort to recruit and employ staff with a good moral character that reflects the racial, ethnic, and cultural composition of the Contractor’s client population.

The Contractor shall provide contracted staff who have experience working with children and youth preferably in a secure setting and can successfully complete training and show a propensity to meet the requirements of a Wayne County Juvenile Detention Specialist (see Section 3.0 Scope of Work for requirements).
