180142 - Snow and Ice Removal Services at Willow Run Airport

Proposals are being solicited for non-exclusive snow and ice removal services at Willow Run Airport. The contract will be for a term of up to five (5) years.  The Airport Authority requires a qualified, experienced business to remove and dispose of snow and ice from the West Ramp at the main terminal (Hangar 1) and the Hangar 1 parking lot at Willow Run Airport.  See Attachment F – Map of Snow Removal Areas identifying the service locations. Hangar 1 parking lot is approximately 130,000 SF and the West Ramp is approximately 750,000 SF.  Application of salt and deicer will be handled by Airport Authority staff and sidewalks and walkways are handled under a separate contract.  The standard winter snow season is November 1st through April 30th of each year of the contract term, however, services may be required outside of those months.  The Airport Authority reserves the right to request additional snow and ice removal services, outside of the above standard periods, as needed.  The Contractor will provide additional snow and ice removal services, as requested by the Airport Authority, at the same standard hourly rates as during the standard winter snow season.
