Description

The Washtenaw County Trial Court is in the process of creating the Washtenaw County Family Treatment Court (WCFTC) and aims to admit its first cohort of participants in October 2024.

The WCFTC is a voluntary program that provides substance use/mental health treatment, integrated case management, monitoring, recovery support, and ancillary services to improve outcomes for families in abuse and neglect cases stemming from parental substance use. Family Treatment Courts have demonstrated marked improvement in treatment and permanency outcomes for participating families.
