The City of Keego Harbor is seeking qualified contractors to deliver and install Engineered Wood Fiber in the playgrounds in multiple city parks in 2017. The details of the project, and the specifications for materials and methods are contained in the bid document. A project plan document is also provided.

State of Michigan funds and federal funds are being used to pay for this project through a Recreation Passport Grant and Community Development Block Grant, and bidders must comply with all requirements of 1976 PA 453 (Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act) and 1976 PA 220 (Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act), as amended. Contractors and any subcontractors must certify that they do not to discriminate against an employee or applicant for employment with respect to hire, tenure, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment, or a matter directly or indirectly related to employment, because of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, height, weight, marital status or a disability that is unrelated to the individual’s ability to perform the duties of a particular job or position.
Those components which are funded by a Community Development Block Grant must also comply with applicable federal wage laws if the labor portion of the installed material exceeds 13% of the cost..
