Description

The work under this Contract shall be done in accordance with the Contract Documents and Construction Plans and shall generally include the construction of approximately 400 linear feet of 8 inch watermain within the Grand River Alley from Bogue Street to Cedar Street. The work includes all fittings, connections to existing watermains, a new fire hydrant, reconnection of an existing water service and other appurtenances. The work also includes the proper abandonment of and capping or plugging of the existing water main and sanitary sewer and the construction of a new sanitary sewer manhole.

The project also includes traffic control, cleanup and restoration and all incidental work necessary to complete the project and provide a functional system.

Sealed proposals will be received by the City of East Lansing at the Office of the Director of Public Works up to 11:00 A. M., Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at which time and place proposals will be publicly opened and read for the furnishing of materials, labor and equipment for the construction of approximately 400 linear feet of 8 inch water main within the Grand River Alley from Bogue Street to Cedar Street in the City of East Lansing.

Proposals may either be mailed to the Director of Public Works at 410 Abbot Road, East Lansing, Michigan 48823 or hand delivered to the Office of the Director of Public Works located at 1800 E. State Road, East Lansing, Michigan.
