Description

This solicitation is for the purpose of entering into a contract for the operation of a food service program for Genesee County Juvenile Justice Center (SFA) herein after referred to as the SFA. The bidder or Food Service Management Company (FSMC) will be referred to as the FSMC and the contract will be between the FSMC and the SFA.
The Genesee County Juvenile Justice Center (GCJJC) provides services for court ordered secure residential, secure detention, and non-secure day treatment programming, for male and female juveniles from ages 10 through 18. This facility operates 24 hours a day 365 days a year, providing three meals a day and an evening snack.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM (EST) at Genesee County Juvenile Justice Center, 4287 W. Pasadena Ave., Flint, MI 48504. All contractors submitting a proposal must attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting and arrive within a reasonable time following the start of the meeting. This meeting will afford contractors the opportunity to obtain information about this project and ask any questions directly related to this solicitation. An attendance sheet will be provided and will serve as the official document verifying attendance. Failure to attend this meeting shall result in disqualification of a Contractor’s proposal.
