Expand Dingell Park to the south adding an additional 175 feet of promenade with new seawall, an ADA kayak, canoe and small boat launch, a launch for competitive rowing boats and a small parking lot to accommodate visitors. Additionally, as part of this project we plan to connect Dingell Park to the existing Boat Launch at Senior Park with a new 8-foot-wide pathway within the right-of-way of Jefferson Avenue and make improvements to Senior Park. Improvements at Senior Park include reconstruction of the boat launch with a new floating launch dock, new seawalls, new park benches, new picnic tables, a looped 8-foot-wide pathway, a new fish cleaning station, a new fish catch display, and new drinking fountains.
