The City of Grand Rapids desires “as needed’ classification and compensation studies on various City positions and “as needed” new positions. The City does not require a classification and compensation study be performed on all City positions. The City anticipates that the majority of the “as needed” classification and compensation studies will be performed during the first year of the contract with Years 2 and 3 being minimal.
