The City of Taylor is soliciting bids for CDBG Residential Window and Gutters Replacement. This is a Federally Funded construction project and is subject to compliance with all applicable Federal Labor Standards, but is exempt from Davis Bacon Act. A performance bond in the amount of 100% of the bid amount shall be required upon execution of the contract and prior to beginning work.

 Windows/Doorwall Replacement

• Remove 14 existing windows and doorwall.
• Replace with Vinyl Windows with  Energy Star rated insulated vinyl replacement windows by Alside/Windows, Jeld-Wen, Pella or approved equal to match existing rough opening. U-0.20 or better.
• Quote to include all necessary Materials, Insurance, Labor, Taxes, Permits & Dump Fees
• Replacement of 6’ doorwall to code.
• Replacement of weather seals and sweeps on existing two entry doors.

• Remove all existing gutters and downspouts. (approximately 110’ lineal feet)
• Replace all gutters and downspouts to match existing color.
• Included new splash blocks at grade for each downspout.
• Quote to include all necessary Materials, Insurance, Labor, Taxes, Permits & Dump Fees
