B. Bids must be delivered to the addresses above prior to the deadline. All bids should
be in strict accordance with this Orchestra Lift Modernization Specification.
1.08 SUBMISSION OF BID
A. The Elevator/Lift Contractor shall utilize the forms provided herein.
B. Submissions of a bid will be considered proof that the bidder is familiar with the location,
facilities and conditions, requirements of the documents and of pertinent state and local
codes, as well as labor and material markets.
C. The Elevator/Lift Contractor shall make allowances in his/her bid for any and all
contingencies.
D. Bid shall be subject to all the requirements of the contract conditions, specification
documents, site conditions, general conditions, supplementary conditions, addendums
and any other document(s) issued in connection with this project.
E. All blank spaces and questions on the bid form MUST be completed. All forms must
be typewritten or neatly handwritten in ink. Failure to comply may constitute a nonresponsive
submittal.
F. The Elevator/Lift Contractor also agrees to include all additions and/or addenda in the
contract price subject to any additions and/or deductions decided on by the Owner
and/or Consultant.
G. The Elevator/Lift Contractor shall include all taxes, fees and levies with the exception
of sales tax only in the price indicated on the Bid Form.
