III. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
1. Refer to Image No. 1 and Figure No. 1 for repair limits.
2. Partial depth repair of cracked, spalled, and delaminated concrete on the top surface of bridge deck, Figure No. 2. Refer to Project Specifications, Section 030100 for general requirements, materials, and execution of the concrete repair work.
3. Replace sealant approach sealant joints with expansion joint, Figure No. 3.
4. Replace traffic deck coating. Refer to Project Specifications, Section 071816 for general requirements, materials, and execution of the deck traffic coatings repair work.
5. Alternates include:
A. Alternate No. 1: Partial depth concrete repair of west and east bridge deck fascia, Figure No. 4.
B. Alternate No. 2: Partial depth concrete repair at stem of concrete superstructure, Figure No. 2.
