Oakland County Health Division is seeking bids for a remote temperature monitoring system for vaccine refrigerators and freezers (and one laboratory freezer) as specified below. Vaccines are stored at three separate locations, and the Biologics team requires remote access to real-time monitoring of the temperatures and system status.
Currently, the South Oakland Health Center has a remote monitoring system installed on 8 vaccine storage units, with an additional unit also connected to this system at an off-site storage facility, “Materials Management”, and one in the laboratory on a deep freezer. The remote monitoring system in place is no longer supported and must be replaced. OCHD is looking to mirror this set-up at the North Oakland Health Center, which also has 6 units housing vaccines.
Locations and units:
SOHC: 6 refrigerators, 2 freezers
NOHC: 4 refrigerators, 2 freezers
Materials Management: 1 refrigerator
Laboratory: 1 freezer
