The classification of Office Assistant I is one of the most widely used classifications throughout every county department and is the entry level clerical. There are 269 Office Assistant positions throughout approximately 20 departments. Currently a computer based test is used. A new test is required measuring the skill based competencies used in this classification that will ensure that the County is hiring the most qualified applicants that will be successful on the job.
