002382 - Janitorial Supplies

Summary of Specifications:
Oakland County Purchasing Division is issuing this Request for Qualifications to qualify vendors who can provide and deliver Janitorial/Custodial supplies to County facilities on a daily basis as described herein. 

The County understands that other government entities may want to purchase janitorial supplies by “piggybacking” on the awarded contract. The County’s existing contract allows this and the overall impact of pricing and service levels to the County and participating entities will be considered in the evaluation. 



The County has an annual spend of approximately $650,000.00 that includes chemical cleaning products, paper products, liners, skin care products and other miscellaneous items. There are approximately 100 end users who order items on a daily bases. This does not include other government entities or municipalities. Currently all items are ordered via the web and purchase order numbers are entered for each order. The County intends to continue web ordering but replace the purchase order system with the procurement card (p-card).
