Summary of Specifications:
SCOPE OF WORK Oakland County Purchasing, on behalf of Oakland County Facilities Maintenance & Operations and Oakland County Aviation, is soliciting proposals from companies/experts specializing in the following work: GENERAL The CONTRACTOR shall provide all labor, materials, incidentals and means of work for the handling, transportation and disposal of acutely toxic waste materials from Oakland County for disposal in a legal landfill or incinerator on an as-needed basis. The CONTRACTOR shall provide services including but not limited to removal, identification, packaging, transportation and legal disposal of various quantities; as small as one (1) bottle, up to and including barrels and spills. The CONTRACTOR shall have the capability to provide hazardous waste spill response services within two (2) hours of being contacted by the COUNTY. The CONTRACTOR shall carry all insurances as detailed in the proposal form as well as Contractor’s Pollution Liability insurance. Interested vendor must note the type and the insurance limits in his/her proposal response.
