Request for Proposal Department of Economic & Community Affairs Community & Home Improvement Division 2010 Annual Report
Proposal due date: January 15, 2010 at 10:00 A.M.
The Division has provided the following as minimum requirements:
Quantity 1 lot = 44,000 copies Paper Stock = 30 lb. newsprint Paper Size = 11” x 12 1/2”
• Printing- Capacity to print color photos; photo reproduction must be of clarity acceptable to the Community & Home Improvement Division.
• Color capacity for headings and cover.
• Proofing- One draft of publication for proofing. Department will not be charged for any changes prior to approval of final draft.
• Publication – 12 pages insert. Publication will be on CD in Indesign CS4 Software for the layout/design.
• Printer must specify date materials from the Oakland County Community & Home Improvement Division must be provided to the printer in order to meet the publication deadline.
• Distribution- Printer must deliver the publication to the following locations for insertion and distribution no later than March 5, 2010.

Approximately, 3,661 copies will be delivered to the Oakland County Community & Home Improvement Division. The Division is to receive a copy of the final report in PDF format to be placed on its website.
A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for Friday January 8, 2010, at 9:00 a.m., at the Community & Home Improvement Division, 250 Elizabeth Lake Road, Suite 1900, Pontiac MI. This meeting is not mandatory, however, because of the short deadline, may be the only opportunity offered the vendors to ask questions and receive answers to allow a response by the proposal deadline for the project.
Bids must include separate, itemized cost for printing, distribution (including delivery), and insertion to the above named papers and Oakland County Community and Home Improvement Division.
