Summary of Specifications:
The Oakland County Purchasing Division is seeking bids on behalf of Oakland County Children’s Village to supply all labor, materials, incidentals and means of work to perform haircuts for boys and girl’s hair in buildings A-North, A-South, building J and building H at the Oakland County Children’s Village, 1200 N. Telegraph Rd., Pontiac, MI 48341. The Contractor shall: Bring no more than two (2) pair of scissors into the building and will keep scissors on his/her person at all times. • Contractor shall take inventory before exiting the building and advise supervisor immediately if any equipment is missing. • Keep tools sanitized when not in use. • Leave all areas free of hair debris and wet towels when finished. • Serve the facility on a sometimes weekly and a minimum of once-a-month basis on days and times convenient to both parties. • Follow procedures of the facility regarding barber visits. • Not shave patients as part of his/her service. • Possess skill and experience with a variety of ethnic hair types; including African American and Hispanic hair.
