Missaukee County is requesting proposals from qualified companies to provide Computer Network and Information Technology (IT) Support Services (“Support Services”). The County has no IT staff. The vendor would coordinate work through a designated County employee.
It is the County’s preference for the successful bidder to provide Support Services remotely while providing on-site support only when deemed necessary. Departments to be served include all those located in the County Courthouse, 111 S. Canal Street, Lake City (Clerk/Register of Deeds, Treasurer, Administrator, Courts, and Equalization), the County Annex Building, 105 S. Canal Street, Lake City (Planning/Emergency Management, Parks, Building, Veteran’s Services) and the Prosecutor’s Office, 127 S. Main Street, Lake City. The Sheriff and EMS Departments are currently served by a separate IT Services agreement, but there are some limited software/hardware issues that will require coordination. We expect that nearly all IT Services will be requested during normal working hours (8AM-5PM, Monday through Friday.) Any requests for service outside these hours will be specifically requested by the county, and provided at the after-normal hours rate.
The County wishes to enter into a 5-year contract to provide Computer Network Support Services for the period beginning July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2027. The contract will include options to cancel in the event of fault or not for fault.
