Lansing Community College (LCC) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to specify and fully implement a centrally managed Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) System that makes use of various authentication factors such as: Authentication Widgets (apps), hardware tokens, security keys, biometric authentication and/ or push notifications in order to eliminate the threat of credential theft with a high degree of assurance. The purpose is to ensure compliancy with various law and regulations, as well as, to protect the college’s IT infrastructure from the risk of the unauthorized access due to credential theft, malware, bots, or by any other malicious and unauthorized use of network credentials.
