RFP-JC-907-101625 - Design and Construction Administration Services - Minard Mills

The Jackson County Parks Department is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced companies to provide Design and Construction Administration Services for the Minard Mills County Park located at 7100 Minard Road, Parma, Michigan, 49269. The County is seeking a consultant who is capable of partnering with the County to provide design, engineering, inspection, and construction administration services for site development and park improvements at the park. The DNR Trust Fund Board has approved Jackson County Parks grant application for site work and development. Jackson County Parks has been approved to utilize $66,000 for design, engineering, and associated work for project administration. Per the requirements of the grant, these fees may not exceed 15% of the project cost, excluding design fees. The grant amount is $200,000, and the County is matching $200,000, for a total project cost budgeted at $400,000. The proposed project includes replacement of existing pedestrian bridge, addition of a concrete access pathway, and improved accessibility within the park to connect with the picnic shelter, playground, and restroom building.
