2026-12 - Transit Bus Simulator System

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified Vendors to manufacture, supply, deliver, install, test, commission, and provide training, documentation, warranty, and on-going maintenance for a Transit Bus Simulator System in accordance with the requirements described in this RFP.

The Interurban Transit Partnership (ITP) seeks to acquire one (1) Transit Bus Simulator System that replicates the operation of a low-floor transit bus.

The Transit Bus Simulator System will primarily be used to train in a fixed route configuration as a 40-foot Gillig Low Floor CNG bus, but it must also be capable, through software reconfiguration, of operating as a 60-foot New Flyer Xcelsior XN60 CNG.
