The Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) requests written proposals from firms or project teams to provide personnel services to GLWA’s Systems Operations Control Division to support their water transmission and wastewater collection systems for a period of two (2) years.
These services will be required at GLWA’s Systems Control Center (SCC) located on the 2nd floor of the North Administration Building of the Central Services Facility at 6425 Huber Avenue, Detroit, Michigan 48211, as well as various GLWA water and wastewater facilities throughout the metropolitan Detroit area. A representative list of GLWA facilities encompassed by the scope of work of this RFP.
In general, the consultant will be required to provide comprehensive support and assistance to GLWA’s Systems Operations Control Division by providing experienced personnel qualified to assist GLWA in the operations of process control equipment at the SCC and equipment at the water booster stations, sewage pumping stations, combined sewer overflow basins, in-system storage gate structures, backwater gates, etc. and to perform related work as required.
