Description

The Charter Township of Grand Blanc is seeking a qualified contractor with demonstrated abilities to provide street sweeping services on select primary roads in Grand Blanc Township. The chosen contractor shall have a proven track record of managing large contracts, preferably with Municipalities. The contractor should currently have adequate staff, equipment, and resources to provide street sweeping services on approximately six miles of roadway and four roundabouts. The Township expects that these services will be completed four times throughout the sweeping season including once in the late spring, twice during summer months, and once in the early fall.

Bids shall be based on performing the work in strict compliance with the attached specifications. Bids must be submitted to the Township Clerk no later than 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2023.

All proposals shall be submitted on the form provided. The bid shall remain firm for a period of ninety (90) days, following the official bid opening.
Bids shall show the total rates in conformance with the attached Bid Form.
The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids in whole or in part and to waive any information therein. The Township reserves the right to award the bid to the best qualified bidder regardless of price.
Pricing and notations must be typed or printed in ink. No erasures are permitted. Mistakes may be crossed out with corrections entered and initialed in ink by the person signing the document.
Should a bidder find any discrepancies in the specifications or be in doubt as to their meaning, the bidder shall notify the DPS office at Phone (810) 424-2640, and the DPS Director will send a written Addendum if necessary to all bidders concerned. Oral instructions or deletions, unless confirmed by Addenda, will not be considered valid, legal or binding.
