HD - 002 - Request for Participation

Grand Traverse County is accepting applications from community members to serve on the Grand Traverse County Opioid Settlement Spending Advisory Committee (OSSAC). In August 2025, the Grand Traverse County Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution establishing the Grand Traverse County Opioid Settlement Spending Plan (OSSP). To support implementation of the OSSP, a seven-member OSSAC will be established to provide ongoing oversight, promote transparency, and develop recommendations on the allocation and use of opioid settlement funds. 
The committee will receive and review funding proposals from Grand Traverse County–based service providers seeking opioid settlement dollars and will recommend awards and results-based programming to the Grand Traverse County Board of Commissioners. 
As its initial task, the OSSAC will oversee the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) to support projects and programs that reflect the OSSP’s five Core Values and comply with the approved List of Opioid Remediation Uses outlined in Exhibit E.
