FAC 5-5-25 - Grand Traverse County Civic Center Irrigation System

Base Bid:

Replacement of irrigation system to include sourcing and installation of new piping, wiring, booster pump, heads, controller, valves, hydrometers, backflow preventer, and associated equipment, testing, permitting, and inspections necessary to operate the irrigation system. Work must comply with all engineering, electrical, and mechanical specifications outlined in the attached documentation prepared by SiteOne and all requirements as specified in the manufacturer’s specifications.  All work is to be completed following industry best practices for workmanship quality with acceptance determined by Grand Traverse County. Supply installation workmanship warranty and manufacturer’s full system warranty.

Alternate bid

ALTERNATE-1 and ALTERNATE-2 are included in the drawings from SiteOne and should be identified separate from the base bid. ALTERNATE-3 calls for demolition of existing heads and baskets to the pipe and filling the resulting holes. The alternate sections are subject to the same requirements as identified in the Base Bid section above.
