Description

The Detroit Building Authority requests experienced design/build contractors to submit qualifications to build the new State Fair Transit Center. A feasiblity study is required as part of this RFQP which will help determine the best design & construction method for the new Center.

Joint Ventures are encouraged. Preference for the joint venture to be with a company familar with Wayne County and the City of Detroit.

The tentative schedule is as follows:
Mandatory Walk Through: Tuesday, February 9th at 11 a.m.
Questions Due: Friday, February 12th at 3 p.m.
Qualifications Due: Monday, February 22nd at 12 p.m.
Short listed teams contacted: No later than March 1st to submit proposals and schedule interviews
Contract award: Week of March 8th.
