Description

Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN) hereby invites businesses who meet the qualifications and specifications set forth herein to submit proposals for the purpose to advance community-based approaches by delivering evidence-based strategies to decrease substance use in the DWIHN region. Proposed activities must be provided in a variety of settings for both the general population and high-risk groups and shall employ evidence-based prevention principles to prevent the onset and reduce the progression of substance abuse. Where necessary, applicants may need to consider expansion, collaboration and/or mergers and/or subcontracts in order to accomplish these objectives and remain competitive.

Reduce youth access to tobacco products
Reduce the consequences of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs use
Reduce childhood and underage drinking
Reduce prescription drug and over the counter drug misuse
Address local priorities identified based on epidemiological evidence.
