Description

VOttawa County is inviting experienced and qualified contractors to perform data cabling services in
coordination with an office renovation of the Ottawa County Department of Public Health
Administrative Office located at 12251 James Street, Holland, Michigan, 49424, including all structural
cabling associated with the renovation, as well as relocation and clean-up of the existing MDF (Main
Distribution Frame), removal of all old cabling and the addition of a new IDF (Intermediate Distribution
Frame) to the upstairs mechanical room, as described herein. The awarded contractor must work with
other trades on the renovation project in order to avoid any delay in completion of the entire project.
This is a PanGen project and specifications for materials are included within the scope of this
solicitation.

Event Note

Mike Morrow, Technical Infrastructure Manager, is the Project Manager and will host a pre-bid
walkthrough at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. During this recommended
walkthrough, attendees will have the opportunity to review and inspect the site, request clarification of
any section of the bid document and ask any other relevant questions relating to the project.

Additionally, it is the County’s intention to utilize this solicitation to prequalify contractors for
various structured cabling projects throughout the upcoming year. This prequalification will be
based on proposed Cabling Services Pricing and schedule availability for proposed future projects and
prequalified contractors must agree to all terms and conditions of the County’s Master Services
Agreement
