SPARK– CMF-G20243227 - Memorial Park Facility Improvements

The 2025 Memorial Park Facility Improvements project will introduce upgrades and improvements to recreational facilities located at 11051 West Jefferson Avenue, River Rouge, Michigan 48218. The proposed improvements will include demolition and replacement of the metal picnic pavilion and associated pavements and lighting at the center of the park, salvage and relocation of park site furnishings and installation of new site furnishings, replacement of concrete sidewalk between the pavilion and the gazebo, renovation of the gazebo including brick tuckpointing, roof shingle replacement, and painting, and renovation of the existing asphalt basketball court including asphalt court expansion, court repair and sealing, fence replacement, installation of a new pickleball court on adjacent repaired and sealed existing asphalt pavement, and application of colored court surfacing, sidewalk connections, and park and street light pole relocations. There are eight (8) improvement items that are identified as additive alternate work items on the plans and in these specifications that must be identified, priced and bid separately from the base bid scope of work.
