Inspection:
Onsite inspections may be available upon request to the designated project manager for verification of “scope of project” and site assessment if needed, prior to bidding. Any inspection shall occur during normal business hours at each location, at the project manager’s convenience. Each bidder must satisfy himself/herself as to the existing condition under which he/she shall be obligated to operate, or that in any way affect the work under this contract. No allowances shall be made subsequently in this connection, in behalf of the contractor for any negligence on his/her part.

Pre-certification of guards:
All guards proposed and provided to the City for services as per the terms of this contract may be subject to criminal background investigation, at the Contractor expense, and shall not have a criminal record or outstanding warrants of any sort.
Prior to award of the bid, and prior to any new personnel working in City owned facilities, the City must receive a complete and detailed list of background/records/criminal checks for each employee utilized under this contract including but not limited to name, address, and birth date.
Record checks and fingerprinting will be considered a normal part of the process, and shall be provided, at no additional charge to the City. Current or updated record checks and fingerprinting for each individual providing contract services may also be requested at any time throughout the life of the contract. In conjunction with the Police and Risk Management Departments, departments are authorized to work with security companies in pre-certifying all security guards used at City facilities prior to them reporting for duty.
