The City of Beaverton is requesting Bids for the construction of Contract 3 – Water Storage as part of
the EGLE FY24 Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) program. Bids for the construction of
the project will be received at the City Offices located at 128 Saginaw St, Beaverton, MI 48612, until
1:00 p.m. EST, Thursday July 10, 2025. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and
read.
This project includes the construction of one new 300,000 gallon elevated pedestal water storage tank,
watermain tie-in, driveway construction, site grading, and associated work. The project also includes
demolition of the existing 200,000 gallon elevated multi-leg water storage tank.

A pre-bid conference for the project will be held on Tuesday July 1, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. EST at the City
Offices. A virtual meeting option will be provided for those who are unable to attend in person.
Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required. Plans, specifications, and a virtual
meeting link (Zoom or MS Teams) will be available by Friday June 20, 2025.
Special project requirements include: American Iron & Steel, Davis-Bacon/Prevailing Wage Federal
Wage Rates, Labor Standards and Provisions for Federally Assisted Projects, and Certification
Regarding Debarment, Suspension, and Other Responsibility Matters.
