Description

The City of Battle Creek will accept sealed bids for the Grinding and Removal of Woody Debris- Brice Pit project. This project consists of the grinding and removal of woody debris from our compost facility located at 715 W River Road. This debris is primarily from the tornado that impacted the City of Battle Creek in mid-May of 2025. The debris may include, but is not limited to, brush, branches, limbs (with and without leaves), along with partial tree trunks. The debris should be considered primarily green, but the condition may vary, and is from a variety of species. The contractor can use whatever means they wish (excluding burning) including grinding, chipping, hauling, etc.
