DPW- Well Plugging & Bldg Demo - Well Plugging and Building Demo- Wixom, MI

The general description of the Scope of Work (SOW) for the project is to provide the City with the plugging of four abandoned wells and demolition of two buildings. There are two wells and one well house on each property. The successful Bidder shall: 

1. Disconnect the watermains, plug and properly abandon four community water wells and demolish two well house building located at Wixom Business Well House at 46916 Liberty Drive and Wixom Tech Well House at 29730 S. Wixom Road as shown on the attached Well survey map. Location from record, exact location to be determined by well drilling contractor. It is estimated that the well depths are approximately 180 feet at Wixom Business and 225 feet at Wixom Tech. All of the site work necessary to complete the above including building demolishing and site restoration is included in this project. Michigan Well Code and Michigan Department of Environmental Quality requirements to be followed for all well plugging as part of the scope of this work.
