ITB-W-8290 - IH Truck OEM Parts and Factory-Authorized Repair Service

Summary of Specifications:
It is the City’s intention to receive bids for providing OEM REPAIR PARTS AND FACTORY AUTHORIZED REPAIR SERVICES for heavy duty truck parts in the City’s service. The City desires to establish blanket contracts for repair parts for all major equipment on hand in the City in order to expedite repairing and returning equipment to service while still complying with ordinances requiring competitive bidding and City Council approval of major purchases. Awards of bid will be made to a contractor based on proposals received which best serve the interests of the City. Vendor’s stock on hand may be a consideration in awarding contract. The City reserves the right to make multiple awards.
