Summary of Specifications:
It is the City’s intention to receive bids for providing Genuine Ford OEM repair parts for FORD Motor vehicles in the City’s service. During the past fiscal year City spent approximately $8,000 on repair parts for FORD Equipment. As repair requirements cannot be accurately forecasted and as the plant configuration is constantly changing, the requirements may change significantly over the contract period. The City desires to establish blanket contracts for repair parts for all major equipment on hand in the City in order to expedite repairing and returning equipment to service while still complying with ordinances requiring competitive bidding and City Council approval of major purchases.
