Summary of Specifications:
The City of Warren is seeking a professional appraiser to assist in the defense of property assessments. The scope of work includes consulting with the City Assessor, preparation of an appraisal report to be used in the defense of the assessment before the Michigan Tax Tribunal, and expert witness testimony before the Tax Tribunal and any other court of competent jurisdiction. The Art Van property (“Subject Propertyâ€�) consists of a mixed use developed property on Fourteen Mile Road in Warren. The Subject Property contains approximately 52.65 acres of land and 925,000 square feet of building area. The building area is comprised of approximately 154,000 square feet of showroom/office space and 39,200 square feet of retail space, with the balance attributable to distribution warehouse/other uses.
