Scope of Work.
The City of Taylor is soliciting bids for CDBG Residential Sewer Lead. This is a Federally Funded construction project and is subject to compliance with all applicable Federal Labor Standards, but is exempt from Davis Bacon Act. A performance bond in the amount of 100% of the bid amount shall be required upon execution of the contract and prior to beginning work.

Sewer System:
Remove and replace existing connection of sewer lead to clean out pipe (Cast Iron lead to Clay
Crock). Existing clean out riser is approximately 18” outside of foundation, excavate as needed
for proper replacement.
Remove all tree roots from sewer lead using a root cutter snake entire length to the existing
main sewer.
Inspect existing sewer line with camera system for possible cracked or collapsed pipes entire
length to main sewer connection.
Existing sewer lead is to be cleaned and televised, any additional repair work to be quoted after the
review of the televised tapes.
Contractor to provide a 1-year warranty in case of settlement
Quote to include all necessary Materials, Insurance, Labor, Taxes, Permits & Dump Fees
