Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills is accepting quotations for a two (2) year blanket purchase order for vehicle suspension, brakes, steering, springs and similar miscellaneous parts for their heavy-duty vehicles.
Unit prices are requested, FOB City of Rochester Department of Public Service, 511 East Auburn Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48307.

Only those persons designated above are authorized to seek additional information from prospective vendors regarding their bid proposals. Correspondence or inquiries made directly to vendors regarding their bid proposals from all other persons are to be directed to those City employees designated above for appropriate review and response. All inquiries shall be made on or before Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 12:00 noon (local time), in order that a written response in the form of an addendum can be processed before the bids are opened. Inquires received after that date will not be considered.
Scope of Work: The intent of these specifications is to establish a contract for the purchase of vehicle suspension, brakes, steering, springs and service for heavy-duty vehicles.
The successful vendor will provide parts and/or service as required by the City of Rochester Hills. All parts must be O.E.M. or an equivalent approved in advance by Fleet.
The awarded vendor should provide a set percentage discount/s off Published Manufacturers list prices (Distributor Price Sheets are disallowed) for all items represented by the vendor. The percentage discount/s will remain firm for the entire length of the contract, however as the Published Manufacturer’s list prices change so will the net price. Current price lists for specified manufacturers if requested shall be submitted by vendor. Where prices are on the web or other computer related media, a copy of the necessary software or subscription shall be included free of charge for the period of the contract agreement. Discounts shall apply to the entire product line no exceptions.
