Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills, Michigan is requesting proposals for Mobile Vehicle Identification Software to assist and provide first responders with critical information about a vehicles’ location of safety components, hazardous components and proper deactivation procedures for the components. The City’s main objective is to purchase software that is easy to use, increases safety and saves valuable time in a rescue situation. This software will be utilized by the Fire Department for handling of various types of emergency rescues. The scope of this RFP is to evaluate which software best meets the needs of the Fire Department based on type of usage. Within the RFP the proposer should describe their software and how it will provide the department a solution to their needs, including but not limited to, the ability to operate on the City’s existing equipment. Proposers are asked to include all references within the state along with the contact name of their local representative. The proposal must include all fees associated with the procurement of software being proposed, including software updates, maintenance agreements, warranties, and licensing fees.
