The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting quotations for a blanket purchase order for various lubricants and antifreeze for the calendar year 2010.
Unit prices are requested, FOB City of Rochester Hills, Department of Public Service, 511 E. Auburn Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48307. Prices quoted must be firm for the entire year.

Only those persons designated above are authorized to seek additional information from prospective vendors regarding their bid proposals. Correspondence or inquiries made directly to vendors regarding their bid proposals from all other persons are to be directed to those City employees designated above for appropriate review and response. All inquiries shall be made on or before Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 12:00 noon (local time), in order that a written response in the form of an addendum can be processed before the bids are opened. Inquires received after that date will not be considered.
Specifications/Scope of Work: The City wishes to establish a contract with a qualified firm for the delivery of various lubricants and antifreeze on an as needed basis. Fuel surcharges are not allowed for the duration of this contract.
Recycled, re-refined, private label, house brand or private blended oil shall not be allowed. Only oil from a documented virgin internationally recognized manufacturer will be considered. Oil specifications must be able to be independently documented and verified on a manufacturers website (distributor sites disallowed). A sample of the proposed product(s) must be made available to be tested by an independent lab to verify quality and specifications if requested by the City.
