Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting proposals from qualified companies to provide an Uninterrupted Power Supply System (UPS) Preventive Maintenance Agreement for the City of Rochester Hills Fire Department Communication Center located at 1111 Horizon Court, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48309 and the City of Rochester Hills Municipal Offices, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48309 for a period of three (3) years; billed yearly. The City’s existing contract for its Exide Model Plus 18, serial number FS204A0004 for the Communication Center and the City Municipal Offices existing MGE Comet 125 kva UPS System, Model #72-160402-42 Serial #B02-10933 and an Expansion Battery Cabinet Model #72-160250-141 Serial #J02-11629 (approximately five (5) years old) expires on February 21, 2009. The purpose of this document is to ultimately enter into a contract with one or more qualified firms in order to provide the necessary services and meet City demands. Vendor shall be a MGE UPS System authorized dealer. Vendor shall be an Exide UPS System authorized dealer. The contract may be split between two vendors; therefore, it is not required that pricing be provided for both systems. ***** Sealed Proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills, at the Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309 until 3:00 p.m. local time, on January 22, 2009 @ 3:00 p.m., at which time and place proposers names will be publicly read aloud.
