Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills is seeking written Statements of Qualifications for providing Construction Engineering and Testing Services for the reconstruction of Hamlin Road from Crooks Road to Livernois Road and the construction of a roundabout at the Hamlin/Livernois intersection. The project is federal aid funded and is scheduled for the November 2008 MDOT Bid Letting. It will be administered though the MDOT Local Agency Programs (LAP) office. There is a 10% DBE requirement on the construction of this project that does not include engineering or testing. The Consultant is expected to provide full Construction Engineering Services as generally described herein. This includes contract administration, inspection, staking, quality control testing and record keeping, and finalizing of all project documentation of the construction work performed by the Construction Contractor until completion of work by the Construction Contractor and acceptance of the project by the City and MDOT.
