NOTICE DATED: May 10, 2010. The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to prequalify Contractors for a variety of health and safety related minor home repairs under Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Guidelines. Sealed Statements of Qualifications will be received by the City of Rochester Hills at the Purchasing Office, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48309 until 3:00 p.m., Local Time, June 3, 2010, at which time the name of submitting proposers will be publicly read aloud. All hardcopy submittals should be directed to the attention of: Marilyn Paulsen-Tomaszewski, CPPB, Purchasing Analyst, Phone: 248.841.2539, or submitted online through the MITN website. Businesses owned by women or minorities are strongly encouraged to apply. Faxed submittals and late submittals will not be accepted. Questions regarding the Statement of Qualifications are to be directed to Marilyn Paulsen-Tomaszewski, CPPB, Purchasing Analyst prior to May 20, 2010 @ 11:30 a.m., paulsenm@rochesterhills.org at which time a response will be prepared and forwarded to all vendors as an amendment, or an addendum to the SOQ, if such information would be of significance to uninformed vendors. Questions received after the date and time above will not be considered. All questions must be submitted in writing. The purpose of this Statement of Qualifications is to ultimately select and acquire Contractors to perform a variety of health and safety related minor home repairs under Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) guidelines. This process will establish prequalified contractor list whereby quotations can be obtained in a short time period from contractors who have agreed to the program policies and have met the requirements of the City (i.e., W-9, Hold Harmless and Insurance). No award will be made based on the results of this process; any award by the City will be subject to separate quotations for individual repairs to the extent that CDBG funds are available.
