Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting proposals from qualified companies to establish a contract for On Call Painting Services at various City owned buildings for a one (1) year period. The City reserves the right to exercise an option to renew for an additional one (1) year period. The Vendor shall provide all necessary equipment, materials, supplies, necessary insurance, expertise, trades, supervision and competent, suitable and qualified personnel to perform the work required. Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills, at the Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48309, or submitted online through the MITN website until 3:00 p.m. local time, on June 9, 2010, at which time and place proposers’ names will be publicly read aloud. Faxed submittals and late submittals will not be accepted. All questions are to be directed to Marilyn Paulsen-Tomaszewski, CPPB, Purchasing Analyst. All questions shall be in writing on May 26, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. (phone 248.841.2539; fax 248.608.8178; paulsenm@rochesterhills.org ) at which time a response will be prepared and forwarded to all vendors as an amendment, or an addendum to the proposal, if such information would be of significance to uninformed proposers. Questions received after the date and time above will not be considered. City may enter into a contract with one or more qualified firms in order to provide the necessary services and meet City demands. The City will determine when and to what extent the Contractor’s services will be used. No specific quantity of hours or jobs is guaranteed (only on an as needed basis).
