he City of Rochester Hills is soliciting sealed bids for Motorola Radio Equipment for use by the City of Rochester Hills. All radios shall be programmed to customer specifications; specifications shall be supplied upon award. Sealed bids for Motorola Radio Equipment will be received at the City of Rochester Hills Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48309 or through the MITN website until 1:00 p.m. Local Time on April 14, 2010, at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Late submittals will not be accepted. No faxed bids will be accepted. All information requested herein must be submitted with the bid prior to the due date; failure to do so may result in rejection of the bid as non-responsive and/or incomplete. The City reserves the right to postpone the due date for its own convenience. Bids are considered received when in the possession of the Purchasing Division at the due date and time. All questions must be in writing and made prior to April 12, 2010 @ 11:30 a.m., at which time a response will be prepared and posted on the MITN website as an amendment, or an addendum to the bid, if such information would be of significance to uninformed vendors. Vendors are specifically directed to not contact other City staff; unauthorized contact of any City Department employee may result in rejection of submittal. Bidders are requested to complete the furnished Bid Form as no other may be accepted. Bids are considered received with in the possession of the Purchasing Division. Bids shall be sealed when submitted. Portables to be priced by piece and quantity pricing up to fifty (50) units. Mobiles to be priced by piece and quantity pricing up to eighty (80) units.
